Customs regulations

America

Canada:

The Canadian government stipulates that the goods going to the east coast of the country should be delivered in Halifax and St. John's in winter because these two ports are not affected by freezing.

Argentina:

Argentine law stipulates that the consignee must declare the loss of the bill of lading to the customs. After the customs agrees, the shipping company or the shipping company's agent will issue another set of bills of lading, and at the same time submit a statement to the relevant agency that the original bill of lading is invalid.

America:

Goods arriving in the United States and to be unloaded in the United States, in addition to complying with the rules of the United States Customs for submitting manifests 24 hours before shipment, also need to meet: the shipper or consignee or notifier shown on the bill of lading must be a contract guest; the packaging of the goods On the other hand, in the description part of the bill of lading, please indicate whether the goods on the bill are fumigated and deflated or non-wood packaging. If it is fumigation and deflation, the description column of the bill of lading will display: "THE CONTAINER HAS BEEN PROPERLY AERATED AT LEAST FOR 24 HOURS AFTER FUMIGATION, CARGO TRANSPORT UNIT UNDER FUMIGATION"; if it is non-wood packaging, the description column of the bill of lading will display: " THIS SHIPMENT CONTAINS NO SOLID WOOD PACKING MATERIALS". On the bill of lading information sent by the customer to our company, please indicate whether it is fumigation and deflation or non-wood packaging, otherwise it will default to the shipment of the ticket as "non-wood packaging" and declare accordingly.

Some special documents are required when the goods pass the US Customs:

The shipper column on the bill of lading must display the shipper’s detailed name, address and contact information, or the identification number specified by the US Customs in accordance with the "Automated Commercial Environment (ACS)". If the cargo cannot be loaded on the ship due to the lack of detailed information of the consignor, or cannot be unloaded at the port of destination, customs clearance, etc. All consequences and fines arising therefrom will be borne by the consignor; the consignee (CONSIGNEE) must be responsible for the cargo For direct consignee, the consignee column on the bill of lading must display the detailed name, address (specifically: number, street, city zip code, continent name, only email address is not allowed), contact information and contact person or ACS identification number; The consignor of an unnamed bill of lading (the bill of lading shown as "TO ORDER" in the consignee column) must provide the actual consignee's details before the corresponding deadline for the bill of lading. Otherwise, the notification person will be the direct consignee by default. If the cargo cannot be loaded on the ship due to the lack of detailed information of the consignee, or the cargo cannot be unloaded at the port of destination, customs clearance, etc., all consequences and fines arising therefrom will be borne by the consignor. The consignor must provide detailed and accurate gross weight, volume, number of pieces, product name and correct cabinet number, cabinet type and seal number. The number of pieces should reflect the small packaging unit, such as "CARTON, PACKAGES, WOODEN CASE", and it is not allowed to use PALLET as the small packaging unit. The product name should be as detailed as possible to describe the nature and shape of the goods. The bill of lading does not accept general description of the product name, such as "FAK, GENERAL CARGO, CHEMICALS, FOODSTUFF, POLYRESIN, ACCESSORIES", etc.

If the NVOCC has issued the corresponding freight bill of lading, the item description column of the freight bill of lading must reflect the detailed item name.
